The top has spot motifs including a Crucifix, two birds, religious symbols, a ladder and chair. The horizontal bands hold numbers and alphabets. Two flower vines at the bottom. And a single green border all around. Browns with a touch of black & blue. May have had green that faded to brown.

This charming 18th Century sampler features a huge center house, windmill and he most charming schoolhouse! The sampler is initialed "CW" and dates 1786. A huge, visually commanding house illuminates the center of the sampler along with a charming schoolhouse featuring a checkered foundation and leaning steeple. There are cherubs, a deer behind a gate, a lamb, yellow owl, dogs, tulips, basket, tree of life and more.
